I’m not much in a blogging mood tonight (but then I wrote that recently and you got a huge post). My Grandma is in the hospital and may need surgery tomorrow if she isn’t doing better. *sigh* I love my Grandma, and am sending good thoughts, but that about all I can do. And I’ve been in touch with the rest of my family today. As much as I love them I am feeling a little bombarded but stuff right now.
But I found a few good tool online concerning knitting and yarn today and wanted to post them here so I could remember and so you might be able to use them as well. Enjoy!
knitPro 2.0 – Seriously awesome! Put the size you want, the picture you want and it creates a chart for you using the picture! So easy!! I luve it!
How to Measure Your Mystery Yarn! – Today I needed help with my brain. I have this yarn that I think is fingerling weight, it’s 100% Virgin Wool it says and a nice color green. I have four hanks of it and while it came with the tags, it doesn’t say how many yards there are. So I need to figure it out so I could potentially use it. This website was one of the first that popped up and it was just what I needed. A simple answer I could have come up with, but like I said, my brain needed some help. So after doing this I learned that I about about 225 yards or yarn per hank so about 900 yards total! Enough for a shawl!
Um, and I guess that is all. I have big ideas still, and always. But that is all for today I guess. More and hopefully something more interesting tomorrow.
